Schipping has tradition on Hamburg’s waters and is always a highlight, because the view of Hamburg and the harbour from the water is always fascinating. Harbour tours as well as Alster and Fleet trips are possible with different types of ships.
Come on board and enjoy a maritime break on the Elbe, Alster or the numerous canals. You or your guests can check in on a traditional barge or change to a historic Alster steamer.
Whether eye to eye with the container giants in the port of Hamburg or gliding gently along the shallow waters of the Alster with a view of white villas, sails and swans – there is no way around a tour on the ship.
The trips are offered by different companies and are usually moderated in German by their skippers.
I would be pleased to assist you in booking the corresponding harbour and Alster round trips or charter of barges or passenger ships for closed groups.
On request, I will take over the moderation on board – often if this is to be done in English.

How can I book a harbour or Alster round trip?
The harbour tours are offered by various barge companies and are usually moderated in German by their skippers.
I would be pleased to help you or your guests to choose and book the appropriate harbour tour as well as a barge or passenger ship.
The Alster round trips are offered by the Alster Touristik (ATG) and are usually moderated in German by their skippers.
If you want to book a tour of the Alster for smaller groups, the ATG recommends that you book in advance, which I will be happy to do for you.
For large bus groups or individual tours, entire ships are chartered.
